Eva Herreros-Moya is a biologist with a MSc in Environmental Engineering who has been working during the last 13 years in the Mosquito Control Service, a municipal mosquito control agency within the metropolitan area of Barcelona (Catalonia). During that period, she coordinated different tasks such as mosquito population monitoring, treatments in public spaces, citizen education and entomological inspections in cases of arbovirus infections (Dengue, Zika, Chikungunya and West Nile Virus) within the province of Barcelona. In 2018, she started to work as a Project Manager in the Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford, where she has been coordinating the interdisciplinary group, HumBug.
