Mozzwear App
The Mozzwear app records sound in the natural environment. There is therefore a possibility that the system picks up and processes human voices within range of the mobile phone microphones used.
To protect the privacy of individuals, the app uses a real-time human voice activity detector. This approach enables self-contained sound processing to the Mozzwear app. Any audio clips determined to contain human voice activity are automatically deleted.
Signage in the deployment area will make it clear that recordings are taking place with associated possibility of recording human voice activity.
