Prof Emery Metelo, MD
University Professor / Head of the Entomology Department at the National Institute for Biomedical Research
Dr Emery Metelo is a medical entomologist, specialist in Tropical Medicine and Bioecology, currently attached to the Medicine Faculty of Bandundu University. He is also Assistant coordinator and supervisor of research activities related to malaria vector control at the Bio-ecology and vector control laboratory at the School of Public Health of Kinshasa. His activities focus on the vector bioecology and transmission of malaria in DRC as evidenced by his published and in press articles. He also has considerable experience in the evaluation of insecticides used in Public Health.
